Pricing

Cost Analysis

The main factors that affect pricing usually come down to these six areas:

Material Costs

Your choice of material—paper, plastic, leather, velvet, or recycled fabrics—affects the price. Premium or eco-friendly materials may cost more but appeal to environmentally conscious consumers.

Box Size and Complexity

Larger box or those with intricate designs, shapes, structures, multiple compartments, or special features require more material and labor, increasing the overall cost.

Customization Features

Add-ons like labels, tracing paper, foam, silk or adjustable straps enhance functionality but also raise production expenses. These features can add value for your customers, making the extra cost worthwhile.

Printing and Decoration

The method and complexity of branding—CMYK ,pantone color,embroidery,stamping,UV,ebossing/debossing—impact the price. More colors and intricate designs generally cost more but result in a more striking final product.

Order Quantity

Higher order volumes lead to a lower cost per unit due to bulk production efficiencies. You save more when you order in larger quantities.

Packaging and Shipping

The way your box are packaged and shipped affects costs. Efficient packaging reduces shipping volume and weight, lowering transportation fees and minimizing your overall expenditure.

FAQ

For Newbie

As someone new to packaging procurement, here are a few key questions you might want to ask

Our minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 100 units, but we recommend 500 units to optimize pricing. This is because larger orders spread out setup costs, such as tooling and plate-making, across more units, reducing the cost per box. Smaller orders tend to have higher unit prices due to these fixed costs.
